Optical Targets (CD, DVD, MD or MO-D) are mass products.  Effiecient and economic production of these requires uniterrupted process control.
Technical Information:
Measuring Range: 3um - 18um (for lacquer with rranparence withing the visible and the very close infrared spectral band)
Low Res: up to 3,400 measuring points ~14secs
High Res: up to 8,300 measurement points ~30 sec
Software Version: LAMS V2.4
Unit powered up and took reading (test performed on a blank dvd).  I am unsure if the readings are accurate as I do not know how to interpert the informaiton.
